<p>PURPOSE: To provide the coordinate input device which requires no cable, improves the operability, and eliminates the need to match a display position on a liquid crystal panel with a tablet position. CONSTITUTION: A segment driving circuit and short-circuiting circuit 23 which drives electrodes X1-Xm of the liquid crystal panel 42 is connected to one- terminal sides of the electrodes X1-Xm, and a segment loop forming circuit and current detecting circuit 56 which forms loops of the electrodes X1-Xm and detects a position is connected to the other-terminal sides. A common driving circuit and short-circuiting circuit 22 which drives electrodes Y1-Yn is connected to one-terminal sides of the electrodes Y1-Yn and a common loop forming circuit and current detecting circuit 55 which forms loops of the electrodes Y1-Yn and detects a position is connected to the other-terminal sides.</p> |
