PURPOSE: To provide an engraving tool capable of being used only when engraving work is required by mounting on an ordinary machine tool, and without requiring an engraving tool for exclusive use. CONSTITUTION: A tool holder 15 being detachable on the vertical shaft 2 of a machine tool is rotatably secured to an air supply cylinder 16. On an air supply ring 16, a connection pin 33 having a connection part to be connected to an air supply part 10 in non-rotative part of a main shaft is set at the time of mounting the tool holder 15 on the main shaft 2. The tool holder 15 includes an engraving pen secured thereto for giving engraving on the surface of a work 6 through air pressure supplied via a connection pin 33. |
