PURPOSE: To provide the automatic accompaniment device which can select an accompaniment pattern with extremely good operability and display the selected accompaniment style on a display screen. CONSTITUTION: Bands are composed of accompaniment parts such as 'drums', a 'bass', an 'accompaniment 1', an 'accompaniment 2', and an 'accompaniment 3' by rhythm kinds representing accompaniment styles. The bands are personified as part players who are in charge of the respective accompaniment parts and their portraits are displayed on the screen. The kinds of musical instrument sounds and the accompaniment patterns are allocated to the portraits and each time a rhythm name is selected, 'band members' consist of various part players and then many kinds of diverse accompaniment pattern can be set and altered with extremely good operability. Further, the portraits of the 'band members' corresponding to the setting state of accompaniment patterns are displayed, so the accompaniment styles are quite obvious. |
