PURPOSE: To enable the realization of plural release load by the same breakaway capsule regarding the breakaway capsule for fixing a member for supporting a steering system to a body side fixed member with specified release load. CONSTITUTION: The angular parts of a resin upper member 20 are provided with shear pins 22a-22d, and the respective angular parts of a metallic lower member 30 are provided with through holes 32a-32f. A bracket for supporting a steering system is provided with four small holes for inserting the shear pins 22a-22d. A breakaway capsule 10 is assembled to the bracket at an appropriate assembling angle so that the shear pins 22a-22d in the number corresponding to release load to be realized are inserted into the small holes, and the breakaway capsule 10 is fixed to a body side fixed member, using the bolt hole 33 of the lower member 30. |
