PURPOSE: To provide an internal reforming control method in which the endothermic quantity caused by internal reforming in a flat solid electrolytic fuel cell and the exothermic quantity by the cell reaction can be well-balanced to execute the uniforming of in-plane temperature distribution within the cell. CONSTITUTION: A flat solid electrolytic fuel cell is formed by alternately laminating a flat unit cell 3 having a fuel electrode 5 and an air electrode 6 arranged so as to nip a solid electrolytic layer 4 and a separator 1 for electrically connecting the adjacent unit cells in series to each other and distributing a fuel gas and an oxidizing agent gas to each unit cell. In such a flat solid electrolytic fuel cell, a thin plate 10 having conductivity in a fuel electrode atmosphere of 1000 deg.C is interposed between a fuel gas passing groove 1c provided on the separator 1 and the fuel electrode 5, and the thin plate has a fuel gas diffusing through-hole 11. |
