LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a lithium secondary battery with high charge/discharge efficiency of a negative electrode in the early stage of charge/discharge cycles and high energy density. CONSTITUTION: A lithium secondary battery comprises a negative electrode made of a carbon material capable of electrochemically absorbing/desorbing lithium ions, a positive electrode made of a material capable of electrochemically absorbing/desorbing lithium ions, and an organic electrolyte, and has 4- trifluoromethyl-1,3-dioxolane-2-one as a solvent of the electrolyte. Charge/ discharge efficiency of the negative electrode in the early stage of charge/ discharge cycles is enhanced and energy density is increased.
