PURPOSE: To easily input arrow marks provided with various lengths and directions in a KANJI (Chinese character) conversion system in a document processor. CONSTITUTION: A document data controller 22 sets a mode for using a cursor moving key 22B as an arrow mark input key to a mode register 22B corresponding to the operation of a function key 'f1'. Thereafter, based on the kind and the direction of the operation of the arrow mark input key, the arrow mark is stored in a read data storage part 22E and displayed at a CRT 14. Then, when a 'conversion' key 12D is operated, the series of the stored arrow mark are converted into one long arrow mark based on the kind and the direction and displayed at the CRT 14. |
