PURPOSE: To automatically correctly inspect parts after mounting on the basis of an adequate criterion without need to execute an input work by a worker even if OR parts are replaced, by inspecting the position of the work according to selected criterion corresponding to a transmitted parts number among plural criteria. CONSTITUTION: Parts are inspected by a method composed of a step of inputting parts number to an IPC cassette 5, step of reading it from the cassette 5 into a mounting machine 1, and step of selecting and designating a criterion corresponding to the parts number based on the inputted parts number, thereby judging whether the parts are good or not. The number of actually mounted parts by the machine 1 is input to an inspecting unit 8 to inspect according to a criterion dynamically selected according to the parts number. If, hence, parts having different dimensions and shape and the same characteristics but made by different manufacturer are replaced, they can be correctly inspected on the basis of a criterion corresponding thereto. |
