PURPOSE: To reduce a running cost for forming a picture and to reduce burden for maintenance of a device by detecting a ratio of a developer collected in a developing container to a developer not yet used and controlling each parameter of picture forming process. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a read-only memory (ROM) 11 storing a control procedure (control program) of the device, a CPU 10 controls each constituent device connected through a bus conforming to a control procedure stored in the ROM 11. And a means by which a ratio of a collected developer in a developing container to a developer not yet used is detected is provided, and each parameter of picture forming process is controlled by a signal from the detecting means. That is, a ratio of toner in a developing container by a means by which a ratio of a collected developer in the developing container to a developer not yet used. And influence affected to picture forming is previously stored with the ratio, a trouble on picture forming can be previously prevented by controlling conditions of picture forming by this information. |
