PURPOSE: To dispense with a sensor and increase the number of times of initialization at the time of initialization for making the instruction value of a speed change control valve operating motor coincide with the motor rotation position. CONSTITUTION: A controller 17 obtains the target input revolving speed Nis from the vehicle speed VSP and throttle opening TVO, drives a motor 23 via the corresponding instruction value, and operates a speed change control valve 21 via a link 22. The controller 17 operates the motor 23 to the low speed ratio side hardware limit position during a stop then returns the motor 23 to the lowest change gear ratio position on the high speed ratio side. The instruction value of the motor 23 is initialized to 0 corresponding to the lowest change gear ratio. The actual change gear ratio is calculated during a travel, the motor position is estimated from it, and the instruction value of the motor 23 is used as the estimated position for initialization. No sensor is required for setting the motor 23 to the lowest change gear ratio position, initialization is conducted even when a power source is not turned on, and the number of times of initialization can be increased. |
