The instruction value of the motor 23 is initialized to 0 corresponding to the lowest change gear ratio. The actual change gear ratio is calculated during a travel, the motor position is estimated from it, and the instruction value of the motor 23 is used as the estimated position for initialization. No sensor is required for setting the motor 23 to the lowest change gear ratio position, initialization is conducted even when a power source is not turned on, and the number of times of initialization can be increased.
