PURPOSE: To realize a compact image input device which has also the function of a solar battery and has a power source supply function. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a voltage source and a storage battery 25. An image sensor 2A is provided with a switch circuit 21 selectively performing a switch so that a scanning line 13 may be connected with either one of a scanning circuit 16 and the voltage source, a switch circuit 22 selectively performing the switch so that a data line 14 may be connected with either one of a data detection circuit 17 and the storage battery 25, a switch circuit 23 selectively performing the switch so that a bias line 13 may be connected with either one of a bias power source and the storage battery 25 and a switch control circuit 24 outputting control signals corresponding to the time for inputting an image and the time except the time for inputting the image. At the time except the time for inputting the image, the light receiving element 11 of the image sensor is functioned as the solar battery and the battery is made the power source of a portable equipment. |
