PURPOSE: To avoid call reception from giving trouble on other parties by allowing the user carrying the portable communication equipment in a bag or the like to notice the arrival of the call without fail. CONSTITUTION: A reception signal from an antenna 1 is fed to a modem section 3 via a radio section 2, in which the signal is demodulated, a TDMA processing section 4 demultiplexes compressed voice data, a voice codec section 6 decodes the data and a received voice signal is fed to a speaker 7. After the transmission voice signal from a microphone 8 is coded by the voice codec section 6 and multiplexed by the TDMA processing section 4, modulated by the modem section 3 and the modulated signal is sent from the antenna 1 via the radio section 2. A microcomputer 5 detects call data from the control data demultiplexed by the TDMA processing section 4 to detect an incoming call. When a key entry section 11 uses a call mode setting key to set the vibration/tone call mode, a vibration generating section 16 executes vibration call to vibrate the telephone set main body at first at the arrival of an incoming call. When the call from the caller is not stopped and no replay by depression of a talking key 12 is made within a prescribed time, an incoming call tone output section 15 provides an output of an incoming call tone to execute the tone call. |
