<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the burden on a microprocessor and easily turn a control system into an integrated circuit by setting an operating point of a required detector and characteristics of a digital filter based on contents of a memory area to be rewritten at a minimum via the microprocessor. CONSTITUTION: A drum motor 11 of the helical scan-type recording/reproducing apparatus is feedback-controlled by a control part 1. A microprocessor 2 monitors the speed, phase error data, brings the motor 11 in a stable state quickly after the microprocessor is started and stores data of an initial value and the like to a memory area 3. Based on the stored contents, operating points of a speed error detection circuit 4, a phase error detection circuit 9, and characteristics of digital filters 3, 6, 7 forming digital control signals are set. Accordingly, the motor 11 is feedback-controlled independently without participation of the processor 2. Since an outer disturbance detection means is eliminated in this constitution, the memory area is rewritten at a minimum, so that the burden on the microprocessor is reduced. A servo control system can be turned easily into on IC and made compact.</p> |
