HEAT STORAGE TYPE WATER COOLER

PURPOSE: To achieve a sufficiently high efficiency during the recovery of cold heat in a heat storage type water cooler which enables the storing of cold heat in a heat storage cell by making ice on the outer circumferential surface of a heat transfer tube so that the ice is melted from outside to draw the cold heat during the utilization of the cold heat. CONSTITUTION: A heat storage unit 2 is connected to a chilling unit 1A to form a refrigerant circuit 14. The heat storage unit 2 is made up of a heat storage heat exchanger 7 immersed into circulation water for air conditioning within a heat storage cell 6. The heat storage heat exchanger 7 is provided with a plurality of heat transfer tubes. The inlet side of a fluid for heat exchange of one heat transfer tube is arranged adjacent to the outlet side of a fluid for heat exchange of the other heat transfer tube so that the passage of the fluid for heat exchange of the adjacent heat transfer tubes facing each other is opposite in direction to each other. A part with a large diameter of making ice is arranged adjacent to that with a small diameter of making ice to secure a passage of the circulation water for air conditioning evenly and sufficiently during the operation utilizing cold heat thereby enabling the drawing of cold heat efficiently.
