<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the outer diameter of a pulley so as to reduce an electromagnetic clutch capacity by supporting an input pulley on an outer shaft through a bearing. CONSTITUTION: When an engine is started, power is transmitted to a pulley 17 through a belt. At this time, the outer wheel 19 of a bearing 11 is rotated with same speed as the pulley 17, its rotating force is transmitted to also an inner wheel 12 through a ball 24 by frictional force. Namely, even if it is in a condition in which electrification of an electromagnetic clutch 10 is not carried out, power of the pulley 17 is slightly transmitted to also a shaft 56 through the bearing 11, so that a shaft 56 is rotated. When high output is demanded to the engine, electrification of the electromagnetic clutch 10 is carried out, and supercharging is carried out by a supercharger 50. At this time, force with which an armature 20 is absorbed on a rotor 17 is weakened by magnetic force which is generated by an electromagnetic coil 22. It is thus possible to miniaturize the capacity of the electromagnetic clutch 10.</p> |
