PURPOSE: To realize a small sized microwave amplifier with excellent cooling performance by directly mounting the amplifier onto a carrier case and forming a hybrid onto a tab film arranged on the upper part of the amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A microwave signal received from an input terminal P1 is distributed equally by a hybrid 5a, passes through microstrip lines 13-1, 13-2, is converted into a coplanar line mode from a microstrip line mode by a throughhole 9 formed to connection parts 7-1, 7-2 of a tab film 7, passes through coplanar lines 11-1, 11-2 being in the direction of the Z axis and fed to an input terminal of amplifiers 3a, 3b. Then the signal is power-amplified by the amplifiers 3a, 3b, and enters hybrid 5b from an output terminal of the amplifiers 3a, 3b through coplanar lines 11-3, 11-4 formed to connection parts 7-3, 7-4 of the tab film 7 via microstrip lines 13-3, 13-4, in which the power is combined and the resulting signal is extracted from an output terminal P2. |
