PURPOSE: To provide an electrophoresis apparatus which is easy to manipulate, simple in constitution and compact in size. CONSTITUTION: A plate-like member 1 is formed integrally by bonding a first substrate 1a and a second substrate 1b. An analysis groove 8 with buffer storing parts 9 at both end parts thereof and a sample injection groove 7 are formed in the first substrate 1a. Through holes 10 are formed at positions facing the buffer storing parts 9 of the first substrate in the second substrate 1b. At the same time, an electrode film 12 is formed on the inner wall of the through hole and in the periphery of both surfaces of the through hole so as to impress a voltage. The second substrate 1b is connected to a high voltage source 103 of a main body 101 of the electrophoresis apparatus via the electrode film 12 to impress a voltage to execute electrophoresis. |
