<p>PURPOSE: To provide a white key of a keyboard musical instrument by which the finger touch at performance time resembles a case of ivory and which presents a high quality sense in external appearance. CONSTITUTION: In a metal mold of an injection molding machine, projecting strips are formed in a part corresponding to a surface of a white key cover 11 so as to become a grain pattern of ivory, and a height and a width of these projecting strips are set in a range of 0.1 to 0.2mm. In the white key cover 11 molded by the injection molding machine having such a metal mold, recessed grooves 13 are formed in positions corresponding to the projecting strips. That is, the recessed grooves 13 are in a range that a depth D and a width W is 0.1 to 0.2mm, and are formed so as to become a grain pattern of ivory. Such a white key cover 11 is adhered to a front part of a board of a keyboard, and is formed as a white key. According to a piano using this white key, the finger touch at performance time resembles a case of ivory. Since external appearance also becomes close to ivory, a high quality sense is presented.</p> |
