POSITION REGISTRATION METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREOF

PURPOSE: To attain sure position registration of a mobile terminal equipment by informing a moving end message to a 1st sub-network before movement via a 2nd sub-network. CONSTITUTION: A terminal identifier management server 614 receiving a message 615 from a mobile terminal equipment 608 selects an identifier depending on a sub-network not in use at present and informs a position identifier depending on the sub-network to a mobile terminal equipment 608 as a connection end message 616 and stores sets of a logic identifier independently of the sub- network to which the mobile terminal equipment 608 is connected at present and a position identifier depending on the sub network informed to the mobile terminal equipment 608. Upon the receipt of the connection end message 616 from a terminal equipment identifier management server 614, the mobile terminal equipment 608 updates the identifier depending on the sub network in the sub network 601 possessed by the mobile terminal equipment 608 before movement and makes connection procedure to the sub network 602.
