PURPOSE: To select only an operation desired by a user to be stopped in a state where the user simultaneously executes an original image input operation and an image printing operation. CONSTITUTION: A central control circuit 2 reads the image information of an original in an image input device 10 by pressing the start key of a keyboard/ display device 3, executes an original image input operation for storing image information read into an image storing device 4 and after reading of the original is finished, reads the image information stored in the image storing device 4 and executes an image printing operation for printing the image by an image printing device 20. In this case, the original image input operation of the image input device 10 is stopped by an originnal input stop key 7b and the image information stored in the image storing device 4 is eliminated and during the image printing operation of the image printing device 20, printing of the image is suspended by pressing of a copy stop key 7a and the image information stored in the image storing device 4 is eliminated. |
