PURPOSE: To automatically call a patient who is waiting for medical examination at a hospital by a video and a speech through the operation of a paging button. CONSTITUTION: One is added to a number stored in a memory part 3 when the calling button of an input part 1 is operated to obtain the number of a patient to be called. A decision part 2 decide data from a speech data storage part 4 corresponding to the number, and a speech synthesis part 5 synthesizes a calling speech, which is outputted from a speech output part 6. Further, an adder 7 adds a necessary number to the data from the memory part 3 and a multiplier 8 multiplies the number by a wait time per one number from a wait time storage part 9; and doctor-in-charge information, etc., from those memory part 3, adder 7, multiplier 8, timer part 11, and information registration part 12 is inputted to a display signal generation part 13 to generate a display signal, which is inputted to a display part 12 through a display memory 14, so that it is displayed on the screen. Data in the wait time storage part 9 can be rewritten with data from a wait time setting part 10. |
