PURPOSE: To provide a prepaid card processor which can expand the printable area of a prepaid card. CONSTITUTION: The prepaid card has a magnetic recording layer where magnetic information is recorded and plural heat sensitive layers which develop different colors, layer by layer, and have mutually different coloring temperature ranges, bedded. The prepaid card processor is equipped with magnetic processing means 22 and 23 which read the magnetic information out of the magnetic recording layer each time the card is used and write new use information after use in the magnetic recording layer, a printing means 25 which supplies coloring energy corresponding to the coloring temperature of a heat sensing layer to the heat sensing layer and prints an image corresponding to the use information of the prepaid card to the heat sensing layer, and a control means 24 which sets plural levels of the energy applied to the printing means and controls the applied energy level on the basis of the use information of the prepaid card read by the magnetic processing means. |
