摘要 PURPOSE: To enhance accuracy in the control of charged state (SOC) of a battery as compared with a case where the SOC is controlled by aiming at the charge/ discharge power. CONSTITUTION: Battery current is sampled over Tsec and accumulated (102, 104). The accumulated value is expressed in terms of the amount of charge/ discharge current AH of battery (106) and a control target Pg of power to be generated is determined based on the amount of charge/discharge current AH thus obtained (108). Since the target of power to be generated is controlled depending on the amount of charge/discharge current matching the battery characteristics more closely than the charge/discharge power, the SOC of battery can be controlled more accurately within a target range. When the SOC of battery is deviated initially from the target range (116), the battery is forcibly charged or discharged to confine the SOC within the target range (112, 118).
