<p>PURPOSE: To produce a toner having satisfactory developing performance, transferability, fixability and cleanability and forming a stable image having high image quality. CONSTITUTION: This toner is produced by successive passing through a process for forming fine particles of a compsn. contg. a binder resin and a colorant, a process for preparing a particle dispersed liq. by dispersing the formed fine particles in an aq. medium with a dispersant which is solid at ordinary temp., a process for preparing a water-immiscible solvent dispersed liq. by dispersing a hydrophobic solvent in an aq. medium, a process for mixing the particle dispersed liq. with the water-immiscible solvent dispersed liq. and a process for removing the hydrophobic solvent from the resultant liq. mixture by heating and/or evacuation and sphering or deforming the fine particles.</p> |
