PURPOSE: To prevent dust from being scattered inside at the time when an air filter is taken out by collecting dust falling from the air filter in a removable dust-receiving box in a window type air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A filter cover 9 with a projection 9a and a removable dust- receiving box 10 is provided between a suction grille 3 and an inserting opening 5 for an air filter 4 which are provided on a front cover 2 of a window type air conditioner. In this way, dust on the air filter 4 is collected in the dust- receiving box 10 and can be removed by taking out the dust-receiving box 10. |
