摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide an optical integrated circuit device which is capable of absorbing definitely leak light which spreads outside the core of an optical fiber and eliminating it and inhibiting the generation of noise in a fiber array which connects a light emitting device, an optical integrated circuit and a light receiving device. CONSTITUTION: A fiber array 1 which has an integrated light receiving device 20 and connects a light emitting device and further an optical integrated circuit, is designed to joint single crystal silicon boards 12 and 13 with a light shielding bonding agent, thereby constituting a base material. Two parallel and V-shaped grooves 15 and 16 are formed on the junction surface of the silicon board 12 where optical fibers 17 and 18 are installed in the grooves. A notched groove 19 is formed in such a fashion that one optical fiber 17 may be cut off while a light receiving device 20 is fitted and buried in the groove 19. The optical fibers 17 and 18 form a forward and backward optical path through which light is input and output into the optical integrated circuit and the light which leaks outside the optical fibers is absorbed and made extinct with the silicon boards 12 and 13 and further with the light shielding bonding agent 14, thereby preventing the light receiving device 20 from being entered.</p>
