<p>PURPOSE: To correct perfectly a defect such as the disconnection of a wire and a short circuit by providing a correction signal supply means supplying a correction signal of the display data or the correction signal of a control signal for controlling a switching element to spare wiring outside a display part. CONSTITUTION: When disconnection occurs at a disconnection defect part A of a source signal line 6, a correction signal supply circuit 20 performs action inspection, and detects the address of the source signal line 6 causing the disconnection defect part A. Then, a PLD 23 writes the data corresponding to the address of the source signal line 6 causing the disconnection defect part A. Then, the circuit 20 irradiates an intersection B between the source signal line 6 causing the disconnection defect part A and the spare wiring 25 with laser beam and connects them. Further, the correction signal supply circuit 20 provided on the outside supplies the source signal of the display data corresponding to the address of the disconnection defect part A from the non-input side terminal part of the source signal line 6. Thus, the image data of the disconnection defect part A are corrected and saved.</p> |
