PURPOSE: To provide a joint for connecting plural tubes in which a wire-like body such as optical fiber and metal line is wired by supplying compressed gas. CONSTITUTION: Tubes 5 to be connected are run through tube insertion holes formed in the right and left flanks of joint main body 11 and linked butting against insertion hole projection parts 19 at the center parts of the tube insertion holes. A wedge 15 and a pressure plate 13 for the wedge 15 are fitted on the outer periphery of each tube 5, and when the pressure plate 13 is fitted to the joint main body 11 by clamping a cap screw 14, the wedge 15 is pressed by the pressure plate 13 to intrude into the tube 5, which is held so that the tube does not fall from the join main body 11. When plural couples of tubes are connected, the fitting pitch of the tubes can be made small and bent parts of the tubes are shortened in length, so a cable connection box which contains the connection part can be made small. |
