PURPOSE: To enable the electrophotographic photoreceptor to output signals as digital signals, whichever of digital or analog light signals are inputted, and to be used for the electrophotography of the digital recording system and to form a high-quality image sharp in edges, even when it is used for the photoreceptor for the conventional analog PPC receiving analog light input. CONSTITUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is provided on a conductive substrate with a photosensitive layer containing a phthalocyanine dispersed into a binder, and a fluororesin to be hardened is used for the binder and the phthalocyanine is titanyloxyphthalocyanine having a crystal form exhibiting diffraction peaks at Bragg angeles (2θ±0.2 deg.) of 9.5 deg., 24.1 deg., and 27.3 deg. in the X ray difraction spectra, and in which the diffraction peak at an angle of 27.3 deg. is the highest among them.
