PURPOSE: To prevent worsening of sealing ability through simple constitution by engaging an annular protrusion part with a notch groove in a state to insert a pipe in a joint body. CONSTITUTION: When after a seal member is incorporated in a joint body 21, a pipe 22 is inserted through the tip thereof in the joint body 21, the joint body 21 is formed of a flexible material and a plurality of slits are formed in the vicinity of an inlet, whereby an annular protrusion part 22a formed on the peripheral surface of the pipe 22 forcibly opens the vicinity of the inlet of the joint body 21. Further, when the pipe 22 is pressed in the joint body 21, a notch groove 21f formed in the inner peripheral surface in the vicinity of an inlet of the joint body 21 is engaged with the annular protrusion part 22a, and the pipe 22 is held in the joint body 21. Thus, even when the pipe 22 is inserted in and retracted from the joint body 21, the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 22 is prevented from damage and sealing ability between the pipe 22 and the joint body 21 is kept in an excellent state. |
