PURPOSE: To easily minimize the occurrence of moments due to reactions based on the thrust of an ultrasonic actuator itself by only specifying the supporting position of a resonator by setting the supporting position of the resonator to the position at which the occurrence of the moments can be minimized. CONSTITUTION: The pin 4 of an ultrasonic vibrator 6 is put in the V-groove 8 of a holder 7 and a pressing spring 10 is provided above the holder 7 on the vertical axis 9 of the groove 8 so that the spring 10 can come into contact with the upper surface of the holder 7. The opposite side of the sprig 10 is connected to a pressing screw 12 so that an appropriate pressing force can be applied to the vibrator 6. The side face of the holder 7 is supported by means of a bearing means 13 so that the holder 7 can move without resistance in the direction of the vertical axis 9. A sliding member 15 is arranged on the surface of a body 14 to be driven with which a sliding projecting section 5 provided on the vibrator 6 come into contact and the body 14 is movably supported by a bearing 16. Therefore, the occurrence of moments caused by reactions generated by the thrust of an ultrasonic actuator itself can be minimized easily by only specifying the supporting position of a resonator. |
