PURPOSE: To effectively utilize function which is provided in a constitution member itself. CONSTITUTION: A vibration device 20 is brought in contact with the one side surface of a rotor 10, and voltage is applied on the piezoelectric body 22 of the vibration device 20 so as to generate elliptical vibration on a vibration body 24. When the rotor 10 is rotated in an arrow A direction, for example, when advance wave is generated in the same arrow B direction as the rotating direction A of the rotor 10 on a contact surface 21 of the rotor 10 of a vibration device 20 by elliptical vibration, a torque is generated on a direction (an arrow C direction) opposite to the rotating direction A of the rotor 10 on the contact surface 21. Therefore, the torque becomes brake force which is acted in direction for stopping the rotor 10. |
