PURPOSE: To provide a vehicle burglar preventing device capable of detecting the abnormality of a unit power supply by collating a code inherent in a key again after permitting the start of an engine and improving a burglary preventing effect against a third person. CONSTITUTION: In the vehicle burglar preventing device for collating a code inherent in a transponder 1 to be a transmitter side and received from the transponder 1 itself with a code stored in an immobile unit 4, and when both the codes coincide with each other, permitting the start of the engine, the unit 4 collates the code inherent in the transponder 1 again after temporarily permitting the start of the engine, and an indicator 16 for informing the non- coincidence of codes to a driver is provided. |
