PURPOSE: To prevent output from becoming unstable on account of the change of environmental temperature, by keeping the temperature of optical components arranged in the optical path where solid laser beams emitted from resonators reach a photodetector for APC, at a specified value. CONSTITUTION: The intensity of a detection light 19B of at least a part of solid laser beams 18, 19 outputted from resonators 13, 14 is detected with a photodetector 33. On the basis of the output signal S of the photodetector 33, the driving of a laser diode is controlled with an APC circuit 34. A temperature adjusting means is installed and keeps the temperature of optical components arranged in the optical path where the solid laser beams 18, 19 emitted from the resonators 13, 14 reach the photodetector 33, at a specified value. Hence the light intensity of the solid laser beams 18, 19 does not change on account of multiple interference. Thereby the drive control of the laser diode by the APC circuit 34 is always accurately enabled on the basis of the actual output of the solid laser, and therefore it is sufficiently stabilized. |
