Guide wheel for road vehicle travelling on rail track

The guide wheels for a vehicle which runs on a rail track have internal guide flanges (8). They also have external guide flanges (14). Both flanges are eccentric relative to the rotational axis of the wheel (7) and relative to each other. Thus the internal and external guide flanges alternately face the corresponding sides of the rail. The external and internal flanges have identical diameters and the wheel diameter is equal to that of the flanges. The internal and external flanges are displaced from each other, relative to the plane of the wheel by an angle of about 120 deg . The flanges are mounted on eccentrics on the wheel shafts (11A,11B).
