PURPOSE: To increase and decrease the illumination range in the forward direction of a vehicle corresponding to the speed thereof by continuously or analogously switching the low beam to high beam and vice versa in a vehicle head lamp through changing in a linear or curved manner. CONSTITUTION: This head lamp comprises an elliptical or parabolic reflection plate 1, a light source part 2 positioned in front of the plate 1 and a light transmission plate 3 in front of the part 2. The part 2 is arranged variable in its angle (low beam light flux L-high beam light flux H) in the elevation angle to the plate 1 through a fulcrum 4 in correspondence with the speed of the vehicle. |
