Each tone sequence is acoustically reproduced (5) simultaneously with or in intervals of calling signalling transmitted via a communication network (FEN). For multiple recorded tone sequences (trf) there is always one reproduction data assigned to one tone sequence using time, telephone number or exchange specific state information, so all tone sequences are acoustically reproduced in dependence on set times, telephone numbers of calling telecommunications terminals or exchange states.
