Procedure to get information about colours of pictures in digital CCD-sensor photography

The procedure uses three consecutive colour exposures of the object to be photographed. With each exposure, a colour filter of different light sensitivity is used and a sensor is placed in front of the colour filter to measure the amount of light independent of the colour filter. This parameter is used to calculate a correction factor before selecting a CCD field sensor.
