The sterilisation system for medical instruments and implants is an assembly combining one or more of the following devices: a UV radiator (154), esp. radiating UV-C; a heater (153a), esp. an IR heater; a device to prepare a fluid bath (157), esp. a liq. bath, an aerosol mist (155, 156, 157) and/or a gas atmosphere with oxidative effect; and an ultrasound generator. The devices are located individually or together in any part of lid or casing. The box-shaped unit is equipped to accept a transportable storage pan with handle (153b) for the objects to be sterilised.
