<p>An IP network infrastructure between or among participants wherein 1) access of one participant to another in the network is controlled by a secure service gateway (SSG) in which a point of origination universal identifier represents a unique identifier for the participant within a participant's internal network domain and 2) the interconnection of gateways within the network is a precondition of access creating a bilaterally secure peer to peer service connection. Participants in the network may be service providers, service requestors, or both; and network interconnections may be one to one, one to many and many to many. A global secure service gateway (GSSG) may be provided in the infrastructure as a central access authority and management service.</p> |
