An insulation mat is made of a nonwoven material and features flat fibres, to which a fire protection agent has been added. The fire protection agent consists of borax, and an adhesive (latex) and a stabiliser (water glass) are also pref. added to the fibres. ADVANTAGE - The mat is permanent when used in buildings but rots when taken out of use
