PURPOSE: To obtain a device which stably and efficiently cuts the outer periphery of a resin disk by providing a cutting part with a cooling gas blowing device to prevent the adhesion of melt to a cutting blade. CONSTITUTION: Cooling air 13 of <=15 deg.C is blown to the cutting part 15 of the optical disk 1 to prevent the adhesion of the chips generated at the time of working on the melt to prevent the generation of burrs by the melt adhesion of the chips on the surface of the optical disk 1 and the adhesion of the chips on a cutting tool 12, and the maintainability of the tool 12 is enhanced. The surface roughness of the contact surfaces of the inner peripheral supporting parts 7 and pressing parts 4 of a turn table 2 with the optical disk 1 is confined to <=60μm and the surface roughness of the contact surfaces of the outer peripheral supporting parts 8 and outer peripheral pressing parts 5 with the optical disk 1 is confined to <=30μm, thereby, the generation of the waving and face wobbling of the disk 1 is prevented and the cutting defects are ameliorated.
