PURPOSE: To obtain a replica, which maintains high surface precision and prevents warping of a glass substrate caused by the heat during resin hardening, by employing an original mold and the substrate having a specific thermal expansion coefficient during the manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: 2P resin 3 is sealed and hardened between the original mold 1 having a preformat and a glass substrate 2 having a flat surface. During this process, the original mold 1 and the glass substrate 2 having a thermal expansion coefficient less than 10×10<-7> K<-1> are used and ultraviolet rays 4 are used to harden the 2P resin. Thus, the warping of the original mold 1 and the substrate 2 caused by the heat generated during the hardening of the resin 3 is prevented and a highly flat and precise and high quality replica can be obtained.
