Damaged weft thread removal from loom shed

摘要

A process for drawing out from a weaving shed a single or multiple twisted weft thread with a defect causing a weaving stoppage entails use of suction applied in a way dependent on the characteristics specific to the thread. Also claimed is appts. for producing the suction (5), i.e. an injector jet with at least two inlets (9, 10). At least one of the characteristics chosen is twist direction while suction spin and strength are chosen as needed to suit the thread characteristics, e.g. the spin to reinforce the thread twist.
