Marker for hazardous points and locations

The marker consists of a raised marking or indicator plate (1) of optional size and shape in one more colours and fitted out with an adhesive surface or anchoring device (4) for positive connection to the supporting structure (3). The device can be supplemented by additional visual or magnetic devices for enhanced visibility. The plate is solid or hollow giving a maximum plate height to minimum ground plan dimension ratio between 0.05 and 0.3, the plate height decreasing to zero at the edge (8) of the plate. The plate can also be designed in round, strip or arrow shape, with a diameter of 26-100 mm for the round plate and strips of width 20-60 mm as against the arrow design which comes in lengths ranging from 150 to 300 mm.
