Above the treated web (3) w.r.t. the pouring curtain (1) is located on an in and out swivelable catch pan device (6). This is wider than the spacing from the outer edge of one curtain holder to that of another curtain holder. The catch pan device is swivelable into the curtain and under the curtain holders. The catch pan device is thinner in the emulsion holder region than the spacing of the holders to the treated web, its thickness in this region being 0.2 to 2.5 mm. Other catch fan section have a thickness safeguarding sufficient shape stability. In the swivelled state it is inclined permitting the flow of the pouring solution against the swivel sense.
