TWIN FLUID NOZZLE

A method for injecting a liquid directly into a fluidised bed comprises the use of a twin fluid nozzle in which a gas is used to atomise the liquid. The configuration of the nozzle (1) permits an improved dispersion of liquid into the bed. The nozzle (1) may suitably be used in a continuous process for the polymerisation of olefins in a fluidised bed reactor.
