<p>The sleeves, used esp. for filtering air or gas polluted with dust particles, are made from materials selected to resist specific operation conditions. Each sleeve has an identification label made from a material which is resistant to the temp. and corrosion encountered by the specific filter. Each label has markings which are resistant to the temp. and corrosion conditions and is attached to the filter by a system which is resistant to operating conditions, e.g. by seams of a suitable material. The label is attached to the filter so that it does not form part of the filtering zone. The filtering material of the sleeve has a weft fibre of PTFE covered with polyphenylene sulphite, or of polyimide. The label symbols can be made by stitches or by spaced dots applied mechanically, physically or chemically.</p> |
