The curved portion(31) of the rear guide of a blower begins at the inlet side of the blower in the range of 25-45 deg. angle with respect to the horizontal axis(X) passing through the center of a blower impeller(10). The diam.(Do) of the base circle(a) of the impeller is 0.25-0.8 times the diam.(D2) of the impeller. The center point of the curved surface is the crossing point(CP) of the base circle(a), the extended line passing through its center point from the beginning point of the curved portion(31). The radius(R) of the curved surface is equal to D2/2+D0/2+ ¯1, where ¯1 is the minimum gap of the rear guide and the outer diam. of the impeller. The curved portion(31) is formed at the angular section in the range of 100-120 deg. from its beginning point. The straight portion(32) of the rear guide is extended at the inclined angle in the range of 25-45 deg. with respect to the horizontal axis(X).
