An image display device gives a difference in luminance between subframes when dividing a frame into the subframes. Further, a magnification to be applied to one of an R signal, a G signal, and a B signal having the maxim signal level is also applied to the other signals. Thus, an image display device causing no color deviation between the subframes can be provided.
